Female Legs Found in Lake in Saint Petersburg

On Thursday, November 3, it was reported that a bag containing human limbs was retrieved from a reservoir in Saint Petersburg, according to vesti.ru.

The human remains were discovered by employees of the 'Ekostroy' company, who were cleaning the Izhora Lake in the Kolpino district. The workers who made the horrifying discovery reported it to law enforcement, leading to a criminal case being opened under the murder statute.

It is known that parts of female legs had been submerged in water for about two weeks. To ensure that the bag sank, the unidentified perpetrator also placed a piece of asphalt alongside the limbs. The Investigative Committee reported that the parts of the female legs have been sent to the morgue. Authorities believe the woman is deceased, and the remaining parts of her body are being searched for.
