Blogger and journalist Ksenia Sobchak will soon return to Russia. This was reported to РИА новости by her mother, Senator Lyudmila Narusova.

The news source informed that Sobchak was seen crossing the Vidzi checkpoint on foot, located at the border of Belarus and Lithuania. On the same day, the Tverskoy Court in Moscow imprisoned two of her close associates, her commercial director Kirill Sukhanov and the former editor-in-chief of Tatler magazine, Aryan Romanovsky, in a pre-trial detention center. They are accused of extorting 11 million rubles from Sergey Chemezov, the head of Rostec.

In response to the agency's question about whether Sobchak would return to Russia, Narusova said, "Very soon." She added that Sobchak does not have any status in the criminal case, so she will return to Russia soon. According to her, the lawyers will appeal the decision to conduct a search. The journalist's mother also confirmed that Sobchak holds Israeli citizenship.
