"Zelensky is a Comedic Artist, But This is No Comedy" - Lavrov
The longer Kyiv delays negotiations, the more difficult it will be for it to reach an agreement with Moscow. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Lavrov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that Moscow has never rejected and will never abandon negotiations, and those who refuse, particularly Kyiv, under the direct directive of Western sponsors, should be aware that they will face further difficulties regarding negotiations.
According to Lavrov, in his speech on September 30 at the Kremlin, Putin once again urged Ukrainian authorities to cease military operations and come to the negotiating table. The West has once again not listened, and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky even signed a decree prohibiting agreements with the Russian Federation.
"He is a comedic artist, but this is no comedy. The events in Ukraine are taking a tragic turn due to everything that is happening under this regime, which enjoys absolute impunity from the West," said Lavrov.
