Azerbaijani Special Services Spread Fake News, Says Artsakh NSS

The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh has issued a statement, specifically noting:

“We call on the public not to succumb to fake news. The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh, in pursuit of its functions and powers as defined by legislation in the field of information security, informs that Azerbaijani special services are spreading false reports and news on the Facebook pages of citizens of Artsakh regarding an explosion in Renaissance Square in Stepanakert, aiming to incite panic among the population.

We urge the public not to fall for fake news, not to respond to or disseminate such messages. The Artsakh NSS fully controls the situation in the territory of the Republic.

In case of receiving suspicious content messages, please refer to the official website of the Artsakh NSS or call the hotline at 047-94-41-26 and 41-26,” the Artsakh NSS reports.
