Electricity Deficit in Kyiv Reaches 50 Percent, Says Klitschko
The electricity deficit in Kyiv has reached 50 percent, stated Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Ukraine's capital, during a broadcast on the "Kyiv" television channel. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
"As of today, the electricity deficit in our city ranges from 25 percent to 50 percent," Klitschko announced.
According to Klitschko, he has received comments indicating that the electricity supply in the capital could be restored within two to three weeks.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the "Kyiv Regional Electricity Networks" company reported that unprecedented restrictions had been imposed due to damages in the energy system.
