Artsakh Residents to Address Armenian Authorities with an Appeal: 'Hraparak'
According to the newspaper 'Hraparak,' as Armenia is trying to convince that the authorities of Artsakh are not opposed to their political agenda and are informed about the negotiations in advance, residents of Artsakh will attempt to refute this notion through a special call directed at the Armenian authorities during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly followed by a rally on Sunday.
Our sources indicate that these planned events have been decided upon by consensus and with the agreement of all political players involved. During the extraordinary session, the five factions in parliament intend to adopt a united statement urging the Armenian authorities not to accept any variant of a peace treaty that would leave the Artsakh issue unresolved, effectively calling for a rejection of Western proposals and an agreement to the Russian variant.
We have been informed that prior to the parliamentary meeting, a statement from Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan is also expected, which will be more moderate than the parliamentary declaration, where the president will present his vision for resolving the Artsakh issue, emphasizing the role of Russia. Following this, the people will express their agreement to these statements in Renaissance Square.
Notably, the following day, on October 31, a trilateral meeting between Putin, Pashinyan, and Aliyev is scheduled to take place in Sochi.
