ISIS Claims Responsibility for Terror Attack in Iran

The Islamic State terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the recent terror attack in Shiraz, Iran, at the Shah Cheragh shrine. This was reported by Miran Press.

It is reported that armed assailants opened fire near the shrine, resulting in at least 15 fatalities and 40 injuries, according to the local Fars news agency. Reports indicate that three armed individuals opened fire in the vicinity of the shrine, with two of them apprehended. Efforts are ongoing to capture the third suspect.

According to a report by the IRIB news agency, the death toll from the attack on the Shah Cheragh shrine has reached 15. Iranian media outlets have labeled the incident as a terrorist attack.
