Zatulinin Receives Letter from National Assembly President Alen Simonyan
The office of Konstantin Zatulin, a member of the State Duma of Russia, has received a response from Alen Simonyan, the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, regarding the invitation to participate in the meeting of the Lazarev Club. This information was reported by Zatulin’s Telegram channel.
It is noted that the letter was received today at 18:00 via email.
Previously, Zatulin had stated that he received an official email from the head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Armenian National Assembly informing him that his entry into Armenia is prohibited. Zatulin was supposed to visit Armenia on October 28 to participate in the meeting of the Lazarev Club.
It is worth recalling that the 'Armenia' alliance had also issued a statement earlier regarding this issue. The statement highlighted, 'It is noteworthy that the clarification regarding Mr. Zatulin being an undesirable person in Armenia and the prohibition on his entry was sent by the head of the National Assembly’s Foreign Relations Department. This decision by the authorities serves to satisfy the demands of Baku and Ankara while simultaneously undermining Armenia's friendly and allied relations with Russia.'
