Israel Refuses to Supply Offensive Weapons to Armenia
Israel has refused to supply offensive weapons to Armenia. This was reported by Israeli political scientist and former Knesset member Alexander Tzinker to Rusarminfo.
Tzinker stated that he participated in a meeting between Israeli representatives and the head of the Armenian Parliament's Defense and Security Committee, Andranik Kocharyan.
The media reports that Tzinker mentioned during the meeting that the Israeli side declared that the supply of offensive weapons to Armenia was impossible.
It is worth noting that according to the Indian online newspaper ThePrint, in the context of ongoing tensions in relations with Azerbaijan, Armenia is considering the possibility of entering into new defense agreements with India. Besides surface-to-air missile systems such as 'Akash', Armenia is looking into the possibility of purchasing drones and other munitions.
