Putin Reduces Communications with Macron and Scholz; Peskov Explains the Reason

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reduced communications with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz due to Russia's position being unheeded. This information was provided by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.

“Recently, they have expressed no desire to participate in any mediation efforts, which is why communications with them have decreased,” Peskov told reporters.

Peskov clarified that the Russian president will not have phone conversations with Western leaders, including Macron, Scholz, and U.S. President Biden, like those conversations held by Shoigu with his Western counterparts.
