Powerful Tornado Sweeps Through Northern France

A tornado has rampaged through the northern French departments of Somme and Pas-de-Calais, causing significant damage due to adverse weather conditions, as reported by Iz.ru.

In Somme, several infrastructure facilities and homes have been damaged, leaving dozens of buildings without electricity. No casualties have been reported. In Pas-de-Calais, according to a statement from the departmental prefecture, one person has been injured. Numerous homes have been destroyed, and residents have lost power.

Reports indicate that particular damage occurred in the commune of Biyucour, where the tornado ripped off the roofs of a church and several buildings. Strong gusts of wind also caused trees and power poles to fall. Approximately 150 residents have been evacuated from Biyucour.
