Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District Head Resigns

Today, I submitted my resignation to the Mayor of Yerevan, Harutyun Sargsyan, for my position. This was announced by Sasha Katvalyan on his Facebook page, assuring that significant work has been accomplished in the administrative district during his 7 months of leadership.

"During my seven months leading the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, substantial work was accomplished, for which I would like to express my gratitude to my entire staff for their diligent and heartfelt efforts. I thank the Mayor of Yerevan, Harutyun Sargsyan, and the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, for their high trust and effective cooperation. I also express my gratitude to the members of the Yerevan Council, the Deputy Mayors, and the heads of municipal departments for our joint efforts for the city of Yerevan. I want to extend special thanks to all the heads of schools, cooperatives, and kindergartens operating in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district for the wonderful work we have done together. At the same time, I inform you that I will soon be moving on to another job, continuing to serve my country," he wrote.
