Italians Unimpressed by New Prime Minister's Pro-Ukrainian Post

Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has made a pro-Ukrainian statement on Twitter, which has sparked a wave of criticism among Italians, reports Kp.ru.

“Speak for yourself, Giorgia, you are Zelensky's, not Italy's,” wrote one user.

“Dear Prime Minister, please don’t take offense... but 70 percent of Italians think otherwise,” commented another.

“What a disappointment Giorgia Meloni is for Italians. Another pathetic clown who, by supporting the war in Ukraine and NATO, will spend Italian taxpayers' money on Zelensky's corrupt regime,” expressed a third user.

One Italian has even predicted the fate of the newly appointed Prime Minister to be similar to that of Liz Truss.

It is noteworthy that in response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's congratulatory message, Giorgia Meloni stated that Italy will always stand by Ukraine.
