Rosatom to Build New Nuclear Power Plant in Turkey
The Russian state corporation Rosatom has commenced negotiations to construct a second nuclear power plant on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. This was reported by TASS, with an announcement made by Rosatom's head, Alexey Likhachev.
“We have begun discussions with our Turkish business partners regarding the formation of Turkey's energy market,” he stated. Likhachev reminded that the second nuclear power plant will be built in Sinop.
Currently, Rosatom is constructing the Akkuyu nuclear power plant in Turkey.
