IAEA Director Grossi Calls Putin Informed Person

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, stated that he is astonished by Russian President Vladimir Putin's awareness regarding the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. This conclusion was drawn by the head of the influential international organization following his communication with the Russian leader, as reported by Kp.ru.

“I am surprised by his detailed knowledge about the nuclear power plant, its technical specifications, and what I am suggesting for ensuring safety,” Grossi said in an interview with Argentine Telefe.

The IAEA chief also emphasized the necessity of continuing direct communications with Putin to discuss the situation created at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. According to Grossi, the Russian president is willing to listen to the opinions of international organizations, making it extremely important to convey his position to Putin.
