Video: Death Toll Rises to 13 After Su-34 Crash in Yeysk, Including 3 Children

The death toll from the crash of a military Su-34 aircraft in Yeysk has reached 13, including 3 children. Currently, there are 19 injured individuals.

Among the injured, 11 are being treated at a hospital in Yeysk, including 2 pregnant women. Additionally, 4 others, including 2 children, have been transported in serious condition to a hospital in Krasnodar, where they are connected to artificial respiration devices.

The fire that broke out in a residential building due to the crash has been extinguished, and the condition of the structure will be assessed by a special commission. Initial estimates indicate that neighboring buildings were not affected.

A state of emergency has been declared in the area surrounding the affected building.

The head of the Kuban region denied media reports suggesting that the downed aircraft was carrying munitions, stating that air force training flights are conducted without ammunition.

Expert assessments indicate that the fire at the crash site ignited due to the leakage of fuel from the Su-34.

By regional government decision, the families of the victims will receive 1 million rubles, with a one-time compensation of 10,000 rubles for each deceased. For injuries of medium and severe severity, the compensation will be 400,000 rubles, while those with minor injuries will receive 200,000 rubles. Each family member will be compensated 100,000 rubles for property damage.
