Thieves Cut Open and Steal From Artsakhbank Cash Vault, Taking 7.951 Million AMD

In Martakert, thieves have cut open and stolen the cash vault belonging to Artsakhbank, taking away 7.951 million AMD. This information was reported by the Artsakh Republic Investigative Committee.

“A criminal case has been initiated within the territorial investigation department of the Artsakh Republic Investigative Committee in Martakert, based on an incident that occurred between 02:50 and 03:40 on October 16, 2022. Unknown individuals, motivated by gainful intent, secretly carried out the theft of another's property by cutting open the cash vault of the ATM belonging to Artsakhbank, located on the first floor of the Haterk community administration in the Martakert region, leading to the loss of a substantial amount of 7.951 million AMD. This incident has been classified under Part 3 of Article 183 of the Artsakh Republic Criminal Code.

Urgent investigative and procedural actions are currently being carried out to find the individuals responsible for the crime and to clarify all circumstances of the incident. The preliminary investigation is ongoing,” the organization stated.
