Putin's Ideas Resonate More with Western Leaders and Populations, Says The Washington Post

The ideas of Russian President Vladimir Putin are increasingly resonating with the leaders and populations of Western countries, according to an article in The Washington Post.

“At the end of last month, he delivered a speech that would sound familiar and captivating to many in democratic countries, from the U.S. to much of Europe,” the publication notes.

It is worth recalling that during a press conference, President Putin addressed a question from RT regarding the changing traditional values in the West and the widespread culture of cancellation. Putin stated that it is necessary to fight against the 'darkness' of the West by supporting traditional values.

Earlier, Hungarian political scientists Miklós Keverház and László Bogár referred to Putin's statement as critical for the West, highlighting that he claimed the West is trying to maintain evasive hegemony by implementing a policy of suppressing alternative paths of development.
