Canada Imposes Sanctions Against Tina Kandelaki and Other Russian Journalists
Canada has expanded its sanctions against Russia, targeting 34 individuals and one legal entity. According to the government’s website, new restrictions have been placed on Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to the President of Russia, and the ‘Zvezda’ television channel.
The sanctions list also includes several Russian journalists and media representatives, such as Tina Kandelaki, the acting director of the TNT television channel, and Dmitry Guberniev, a sports commentator and chief director's adviser at the ‘Rossiya’ television channel.
Additionally, Canada has imposed sanctions against Alexander Kotsi, a correspondent for ‘Komsomolskaya Pravda’, Kirill Kleimenov, the deputy director general of ‘Channel One’, Maria Sitteli, a presenter at ‘Rossiya’, and Mikhail Leontyev, a press secretary at Rosneft.
