"The Case is Fabricated": Son of Driver of Truck that Exploded on Crimean Bridge Provides Details

The son of the accused in the Crimean Bridge explosion, who lives in the Kherson region, has confirmed the news of his father’s detention and stated that the "case is fabricated." This was reported by RIA Novosti.

He noted that he does not believe in his father's involvement in the bridge explosion.

According to Maxim, his father, Roman Solomko, traveled to Crimea on October 8-9. He explained that Roman Solomko had gone to Georgia, where he dealt with customs declarations, hired a broker, and then left Georgia. "He was supposed to leave money there; we officially left our documents with the companies... We officially submitted everything," Maxim concluded, noting that he has "no words for all of this."

Recall that on October 8, a truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge, collapsing two lanes of the road, which were restored hours later.

The FSB of the Russian Federation has published the names of the accused. According to the published list, the individuals involved in the terrorist act included Ukrainian citizens Mikhail Tsirkalo, Denis Kovach, and Roman Solomko, Georgian citizens Dandro Inosaridze and an intermediary known only as "Levan," as well as Armenian citizen Arthur Terzyan. Armenian authorities have provided clarifications and indicated that they will investigate the publications, while the State Revenue Committee has provided details about the truck's customs clearance, confirming no violations.
