Video: When Will Traffic Resume on the Overpass Connecting Marshal Baghramyan Avenue to Kasyan Street?

Traffic on the overpass connecting Marshal Baghramyan Avenue to Kasyan Street will resume on October 18. The City Hall of Yerevan informed that the progress of the project was presented to the Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan, who noted that the urgency of the works was due to the safety of citizens, stating there was a risk of collapse.

The overpass connecting Marshal Baghramyan Avenue to Kasyan Street was constructed in 2007. It has been renovated once, but currently, comprehensive renovation works are underway.

“We will completely change the road service sector and we are moving beyond just patching up potholes, transitioning to medium repairs,” said Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

Construction work on the overpass began on October 5.
