Putin Announces When Partial Mobilization Will End

Partial mobilization in Russia will conclude in about two weeks, with more than 220,000 people already called up. This announcement was made by the President of Russia during a press conference following his visit to Kazakhstan.

Putin also addressed the negotiations with Kyiv, stating that Moscow is always open to discussions regarding Ukraine. He expressed confidence that Russia is acting correctly and proportionately in the current situation: “What is happening today is, to put it mildly, unpleasant. Our objective is not to destroy Ukraine,” emphasized Putin.

Regarding the talks with the West, Putin highlighted that Russia will participate in the G20 summit, though the format of participation has not yet been clarified. “There are currently no discussions about direct negotiations with any of the G20 participants. As for discussions with Joe Biden, I see no need for that,” added the Russian president.
