Casualties Increase Following Explosion in Turkish Mine

The number of fatalities from an explosion in a mine in northern Turkey has risen to 28. This information was reported by the TRT television channel.

Previously, officials had reported 25 dead. It has also been noted that 11 injured individuals are currently receiving treatment in hospitals.

To recall, the explosion occurred yesterday in a mine located in northern Turkey. The A Haber television channel, citing local authorities, had reported that there were 115 workers underground at a depth of 300 meters at the time of the explosion, with some being evacuated. According to reports, 49 workers have been trapped in the mine.
