Three Arrested in Crimean Bridge Explosion Case are Armenian, Reports Interfax
The authorities of Crimea have detained five individuals in connection with the explosion of the Crimean bridge, among whom three are of Armenian descent.
According to Interfax, citing its sources, the detainees include Artem Azatyan, Georgi Azatyan, Roman Solomko, Vladimir Zlob, and Arthur Terjanian, who have been sent to a detention facility.
By court order, the five suspects will remain in custody until December 8.
The Russian Federal Security Service reported the first arrests shortly after the incident, claiming that the organizer of the crime is Kirill Budanov, the head of Ukraine's military intelligence.
According to the agency's information, 12 suspects have been identified, of which eight—five from Russia, and three from Ukraine and Armenia—have been arrested. Russian law enforcement claims that they participated in the preparation of the crime.
