I Was Surprised: Putin Comments on Macron's Statement Regarding Armenia and Artsakh

I was surprised to read Macron's statements about Russia's role in Nagorno-Karabakh. "Russia has always sincerely sought to resolve any conflict, including in Nagorno-Karabakh," said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Recall that Macron earlier stated: "What has been happening at the border for the last two years... there are supposedly 5,000 Russian soldiers there to guarantee the border, but the Russians have used this conflict, which has a history of several centuries, with Turkey's complicity playing Azerbaijan's game and returning to weaken for Russia a country that was once its ally, Armenia.
