VIDEO: Putin is in Astana, Meeting with Erdogan Expected

The Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia is set to begin in Astana. According to Russian media reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin is also in Kazakhstan today.

During the event, the Russian leader will discuss the Ukraine conflict and the grain crisis with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Three international events are expected to take place in Kazakhstan during these days: the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia on October 13, followed by the Council of CIS Heads of State and a Russia-Central Asia summit on October 14.
