Saboteurs Detained During Attempt to Blow Up Turkish Stream, Peskov
Several saboteurs have been detained during an attempt to blow up the "Turkish Stream" gas pipeline in Russia. This information was shared with reporters by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“A few saboteurs have been detained who attempted to blow up the pipeline on our territory,” he said. It is noteworthy that on October 10, during an operational consultation with Security Council members, President Vladimir Putin stated that Kiev had tried to carry out an explosion at one of the sections of the "Turkish Stream" gas transportation system.
Previously, Putin had indicated that Russia could move the gas transit from the "Nord Streams" to the Black Sea region and to Turkey. In response to this proposal, Turkey's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Fatih Donmez, stated that it is technically feasible and should be examined in detail.
