People in Artsakh Eagerly Await News from Those Who Went to Armenia: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'Yesterday, the long-awaited meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan finally took place. Notably, the meeting was followed by an official statement that provided no substantial information; the government spokesperson stated that such meetings are of a periodic nature. They deemed it unnecessary to disclose any further details or the content of the discussion, and even no dry information was posted on the government’s website.

We had written that a delegation from Artsakh arrived in Armenia on Monday, but neither Pashinyan nor any other officials met with them on Tuesday. Initially, they had hoped that all members of the delegation, including Foreign Minister David Babayan, National Assembly President Artur Tovmasyan, the Chair of the Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee, opposition leader Vahram Balayan, and Presidential Advisor Masis Mayilyan, would participate in the meeting with the Prime Minister. The goal was to understand the agreements reached in Prague and learn about the fate of Artsakh. However, Pashinyan refused to meet with them all, stating that other officials would meet with their counterparts in Armenia—specifically, the Foreign Minister and the National Assembly President. Ultimately, he only accepted the Artsakh President.

Other meetings did not occur. Yesterday, Ararat Mirzoyan left for Astana, followed by Pashinyan and Mher Grigoryan. It is expected that other meetings with the Artsakh delegation will take place after their return. By the way, people in Artsakh are eagerly anticipating what news those who went to Armenia will bring back, as they had yet to receive any information yesterday.'
