EU Readies to Deploy Observer Mission in Armenia: Lacôte
The European Union is preparing to deploy its observer mission in Armenia along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This was reported by Jonathan Lacôte, the former French ambassador to Armenia, on his Facebook page.
“For the first time since the start of the conflict in 1988, there will be an international presence on the ground initiated by France and the EU. This mission was announced at the conclusion of a quadrilateral meeting held in Prague,” he wrote.
