Azerbaijani Side Raises Issue of Seven Villages in Qazakh Region and One in Nakhchivan in Washington, Says Hajiyev

Azerbaijani presidential adviser Hikmet Hajiyev has spoken about the issues raised by the Azerbaijani side during negotiations in Washington.

"The discussion pertains to the more than one thousand kilometers of the un-demarcated border between Azerbaijan and Armenia. During the talks, the Azerbaijani side also raised the issue of seven villages in the Qazakh region and one in Nakhchivan, which are still under occupation," he stated.

It is noteworthy that Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan mentioned that during the meeting with Sullivan and Hajiyev in Washington, they discussed the timeline for moving towards a peace agreement, the issue of delimitation, and it was agreed that delimitation would take place by the end of the year.
