Prosecutor General's Office Addresses Arrest of Armenian Citizen in Crimea Bridge Case

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia has responded to reports circulated today by the Federal Security Service of Russia, which stated that among those arrested in connection with the explosion at the Crimea Bridge is an Armenian citizen.

"Considering that the publication contained information indicating the commission of an apparent crime, the Prosecutor General's Office has directed these reports to the Investigative Department of the National Security Service of Armenia, with instructions to address the initiation of a criminal case. The Prosecutor General's Office will be consistent in its efforts to fully reveal the circumstances of the published information by utilizing the tools provided by law, including the institute of international assistance. Additional information will be provided regarding the results," stated the Prosecutor General's Office in their announcement.
