Gagik Tsarukyan's Son-in-Law Appears at Prosecutor's Office

The son-in-law of Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, Karapet Guloyan, has appeared at the RA Prosecutor General's Office. This was confirmed by the Prosecutor's Office in response to a query from Tert.am: "Karapet Guloyan has appeared at the prosecutor's office in the framework of the investigation into property of illegal origin and has received the materials."

Previously, it was reported that according to the official announcement registry, Gagik Tsarukyan's daughter, Roza Tsarukyan, and her husband were summoned by the RA Prosecutor General's Office’s department for confiscation of property of illegal origin. An investigation has been conducted regarding the property belonging to them, resulting in a summary report.

It remains unclear which specific properties are being referred to. According to his 2018 declaration, when Tsarukyan's son-in-law was the governor of Kotayk province, he declared securities worth 24 million 960 thousand drams and cash totaling 1 billion 400 million drams, along with more than half a million dollars (548 thousand dollars), despite an annual salary of 4 million 700 thousand drams. His wife, Roza Tsarukyan, declared 17 million drams and 44 thousand dollars in 2017. Notably, Gagik Tsarukyan's son-in-law and daughter did not declare any movable or immovable properties.
