Will the Putin-Erdogan Meeting Take Place?

Ankara anticipates that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet on October 12 in Astana, during the VI Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia. This was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing AFP.

Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Putin and Erdogan might discuss the possibility of further peace negotiations between the Russian side and Western countries.
