U.S. and Western Soldiers Are Fighting in Ukraine, Says Lavrov

Information suggests that personnel from the U.S. and other Western countries are actively fighting in Ukraine. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during an appearance on the ‘60 Minutes’ program aired on Russia-1 television.

“Servicemen from the American army, as well as personnel from a number of European countries, are assisting in the calculations for armament complexes, HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, and helping to ensure their use in these military operations,” Lavrov stated.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Americans are not only supplying weapons to Volodymyr Zelensky and his regime but are also providing intelligence data from satellites. Moreover, according to Sergey Lavrov, this involves not just several dozen military satellites, but hundreds of commercial satellites.

He added that evidence is multiplying, and the West is beginning to understand that they are going much further than they had prepared for.

Referring to Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, the minister noted that they were halted by direct orders from the U.S. and the UK. “We were negotiating with the Ukrainian delegation at the table. At that time, in Istanbul, by the end of March, an approach to resolving this situation was agreed upon based on the principles proposed by the Ukrainian side, which were satisfactory to us. These negotiations were halted by direct orders from the U.S. and London. In general, this war is controlled by the Anglo-Saxons, who are overseeing Zelensky's regime, with the Poles and representatives from the Baltic states trying to join them,” Lavrov said.

Recall that in the early hours of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the decision to carry out a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR requested assistance. Combat operations in Ukraine are now entering their 229th day.
