VIDEO: Consequences of Shelling in Ukraine - 14 Dead, Over 90 Injured
As of 9:00 PM on October 10, 1,307 locations in Ukraine are without power due to missile strikes, reports the country’s State Emergency Service, as cited by UNIAN.
It has been reported that 14 people have died and 97 have been injured.
Today, cities across Ukraine, including Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, and Odesa, have been subjected to shelling.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the attacks were aimed at "military command, communication, and energy system facilities in Ukraine." In the capital city of Kyiv alone, at least 5 people have died and over 20 have been injured due to the shelling, according to local authorities.
The Kyiv metro has halted operations and is being used as a bomb shelter.
