Details Released on Casualties and Injuries from Explosion in Kyiv

The advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Gerashchenko, has reported that 5 people have died and 12 others have been injured as a result of explosions that occurred in Kyiv this morning.

Earlier, we had reported that explosions were heard in the early morning hours in Kyiv. This has been confirmed by Ukrainian media sources. Later, the city mayor, Vitali Klitschko, confirmed information regarding the attack. 3 to 4 explosions were registered in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
