Crimean Bridge Will Bloom with Flowers for Them: Lukashenko Issues Warning

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned Ukraine about the consequences of a potential strike on Belarus. The state leader made this statement during a security meeting, according to the BELTA agency.

Lukashenko and Putin have agreed on the stationing of joint military units.

“We need to determine what other measures should be taken to strengthen our state’s security, considering the rapidly changing environment. Yesterday, through unofficial channels, we were warned about strikes on Belarus from Ukrainian territory. It was stated: ‘We will make it like Crimean Bridge 2’. Now, relay this to Ukraine's president and other incompetents, if they are still there, that the Crimean Bridge will bloom with flowers for them if their dirty hands touch even one meter of our territory. Consider this your mission, consider it an order. We will respond appropriately to any adversary; we have been preparing for this for more than a decade,” the leader addressed military and security forces.

The Belarusian president emphasized that under these circumstances, the US and the EU announce their readiness to legalize those who have left the country as a political force, significantly increasing support for destructive elements, thereby escalating the situation at the western border to the point of opening a “second front.” Lukashenko also recalled that at the beginning of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, he warned about threats on the western border and stated that Belarus would not allow the Russians to be shot at from behind.

“I have already said that today, not only is there a discussion about but a plan is being formed to strike Belarusian territory from Ukraine. Of course, the Ukrainians absolutely do not need this. Why would they open a second front in our south? This is outright madness from a military perspective, but nevertheless, the process has begun, and their masters are pushing for the unleashing of a war against Belarus, to simultaneously resolve issues with both Russia and Belarus,” said the Belarusian leader.
