Turkish Military Base Under Missile Attack

A Turkish military base located in northern Iraq has been struck by three missiles. This was reported by Shafak News, an Iraqi news portal, with information sourced from TASS.

Three missiles were fired at the Turkish Zlikan base situated northeast of the city of Mosul, according to a representative of the local security department. It was noted that "two of them fell in the immediate vicinity of the Turkish forces' camp, while the third landed at the foot of a mountain adjacent to the base."

Iraqi security forces have begun operations to locate the launcher and arrest the individuals responsible for the fire directed towards the Turkish military installations.

The Zlikan base, as well as another Turkish base near the village of El-Amadiya, located 15 kilometers from the Turkish border, frequently become targets of various attacks. Turkish soldiers often fall victim to such attacks.
