What Will Be Next, Russians: Ukraine’s Defense Ministry on the Explosion at the Crimean Bridge

“Moscow” missile cruiser and the Kerch Bridge—two infamous symbols of Russian power in occupied Crimea—have been destroyed. What will be next, Russians? This was the message posted on the official Twitter account of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense in response to the explosion at the Crimean Bridge.

Earlier, the incident was also addressed by President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office. Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the head of Zelensky’s office, stated that the incident was “the beginning.”

“Crimea, the bridge, the beginning: It is necessary to destroy everything that is illegal, return what was stolen to Ukraine, and expel the Russian occupation,” wrote Podolyak on his Twitter account.

Recall that earlier today, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that a truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge early in the morning, causing a fire in seven fuel tanks of a train. There was a partial collapse of two automotive openings of the bridge.

The arch of the land section of the bridge was not damaged. According to preliminary information from regional authorities, there are no casualties or injuries resulting from the incident.
