The Institute of 'Frame-Making' Has Disappeared or is on the Verge of Disappearance: Pashinyan Visits the RA Investigative Committee

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended a ceremonial session dedicated to the day of the officers of the Investigative Committee. Congratulating the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Argishti Kyaramyan, and all officers on the occasion of their professional day, Pashinyan noted that the core of the pre-investigation process in Armenia today is the fact.

"I think that in Armenia, excuse the expression, the institute of 'frame-making' has either disappeared or is on the verge of disappearance, or we are moving in that direction, or we have made significant progress on that path, so that this 'institute' does not exist in the Republic of Armenia at all," he said.

In his speech, Pashinyan emphasized the importance of actively restoring the damages inflicted on the state and the public, as well as investigating cases related to the 44-day war. "The investigation of these cases will have a key and cornerstone significance for the further development of our state, because our country is clearly at a crucial juncture, an important crossroads," said the Prime Minister.

Pashinyan also addressed the issue of creating a strong system of social guarantees for the employees of the RA Investigative Committee, noting that this is important not only for them but first and foremost for the citizens who face the issue of the quality of pre-investigation.

He stated that today more than 90 percent of Armenia's pre-investigations fall under the responsibility of the Investigative Committee, adding that this volume will expand starting from January 1, 2023.

Nikol Pashinyan awarded a group of officers of the Investigative Committee with the Mkhitar Gosh medal and commemorative medals from the Prime Minister on the occasion of their professional day.
