Vahagn Hovakimyan Elected Chairman of the CEC

In a special session of the National Assembly, Vahagn Hovakimyan was elected as the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia, with his candidacy proposed by the parliamentary faction of the "Civil Contract."

Additionally, Anna Grigoryan, Zhirayr Karapetyan, Nune Hovhannisyan, Silva Markosyan, Armen Smbatyan, and Arusyak Terchanyan were elected as members of the Central Electoral Commission. The election of the CEC chairman and members was approved with a vote of 65 in favor and 0 against.
