More than 20 Individuals Claim to Have Seen Their Sons in Videos: Ombudsman on Prisoners

The Azerbaijani authorities assert that they have had 17 Armenian captives, who have been returned. However, we believe that it is highly probable that other Armenian soldiers captured in September are still in Azerbaijan. This was stated by Armenia's Human Rights Defender Kristine Grigoryan during a meeting with journalists on October 7.

“We will continue to work because these individuals need to be able to receive legal assistance. Earlier, more than 20 individuals claimed to have seen their sons in videos,” she added.

It is noteworthy that 17 soldiers were returned from Azerbaijan on October 4, who had been captured due to Azerbaijani aggression in Armenia's sovereign territory in mid-September of this year.
