Azerbaijanis Steal 2 Million Drams Worth of Livestock from Artsakh Villagers in Just Days
Azerbaijanis have stolen horses and large cattle from the people of Artsakh, reports the Artsakh Investigative Committee.
“The Askeran district investigative department of the Artsakh Republic's Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case regarding an incident that occurred between September 7 and 12, 2022. Azerbaijani individuals from a military outpost located on a hill in the administrative territory of the ancient Shen community of the Shushi region descended approximately 150 meters into the territory of the same community.
They secretly stole a total of 4 large cattle and 1 horse belonging to the residents of the community, amounting to 2,025,000 Armenian drams. The criminal case has been opened under Articles 183, Part 2, Points 1 and 2 of the Artsakh Criminal Code. The pre-investigation continues,” states the report from the Artsakh Investigative Committee.
