We Are Ready to Negotiate with Azerbaijan: Artak Beglaryan

Artak Beglaryan, the State Minister of Artsakh, wrote on his Facebook page:  

“A few important excerpts from the fundamental statement made by the expanded composition of the Security Council of Artsakh on October 3:

• “We emphasize that any document that may ignore the existence of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, jeopardize the prospects for its fair resolution, and constrain the opportunities for international recognition of the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh and its results, including through a false agenda subordinating it to the principle of territorial integrity, is unacceptable for us.”
• “The national values and interests imply that, regardless of everything, Mother Armenia must always be alongside Artsakh in all directions, especially in guaranteeing the security of the people of Artsakh and in international recognition of the right to self-determination.”
• “We emphasize that as long as the Republic of Artsakh is not included in the conflict resolution process on an equal basis and within the framework of an international high-level format, the Republic of Armenia is obliged and authorized to represent and defend the rights and interests of the people of Artsakh in international platforms.”
• “We are ready to negotiate with Azerbaijan regarding the resolution of the conflict if there is a restoration of the full negotiating format, where the Republic of Artsakh is recognized as a full party.”
• “It is undeniable that the stakeholder in the future of Artsakh is the entire Armenian nation, and the interests of Armenia and Artsakh must be viewed as a single whole.”
