The Risk of Direct American Participation in the Russo-Ukrainian Conflict is Growing, Says Russian Ambassador in the U.S.
“Official Moscow will defend the new territories that became part of the Russian Federation as a result of the referendums held in eastern Ukraine from September 23-27, as well as Crimea,” said Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to the U.S., during a broadcast on Russian First Channel, as reported by Izvestia.
He noted that they are trying to make their American counterparts understand that these territories belong to Russia and are being shelled by the weapons supplied by the U.S. to Ukraine.
Antonov also added that the risks of direct American participation in the Ukrainian conflict are increasing.
