Pashinyan Does Not Hide That Russia Wants to Take Our Sovereignty Away from Us

The newspaper "Zhoghovourd" reports that the news about the meeting between Pashinyan and Erdoğan scheduled for today (Turkish media reported this yesterday), as well as the series of articles published in the media owned by Nikol Pashinyan's family, have injected another dose of alarm into the Armenian society. Could it be that the "revolutionaries" have a desire to bid farewell to Russia?

The concerns are indeed valid. "Zhoghovourd" has learned that during recent conversations with his teammates, Nikol Pashinyan has been presenting arguments that Russia wants to take our sovereignty away from us, and therefore, we should say goodbye to it and lean towards Europe and America. Anti-Russian sentiments seem to be surging among the ruling faction these days.

Members of the ruling party, lost in Pashinyan's anti-Russian rhetoric, no longer even hide that gradually, they must sever all types of ties with Russia and express their fondness for Europeans and Americans. However, the authorities do not seem to be addressing a simple question: how do they intend to say goodbye to Russia, when a significant portion of our economy is in Russia's hands, and the oversight of part of the sovereign territory of Armenia is also carried out by Russian border guards, among other issues?

Of course, pursuing a balanced policy and advancing one's own interests with the great powers of the world is fantastic, but that requires both intellect and skill.
