Turkey and Azerbaijan Special Forces Conduct Joint Exercises
Turkey and Azerbaijan's special forces have begun joint exercises, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced via a Twitter post. According to the ministry's statement, the drills that started on October 3 in Turkey will continue until October 14.
It is noteworthy that following the intense military operations that began at midnight on September 13 along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, official data indicates that there have been 206 casualties and missing persons on the Armenian side, with at least 20 prisoners of war, while the Azerbaijani side has reported 80 fatalities, with both sides experiencing hundreds of injuries. A ceasefire was declared on the evening of September 14, but it has been periodically violated, resulting in 3 casualties and 1 injury on the Armenian side, and 4 injuries on the Azerbaijani side.
As of September 28 at 22:00, the situation at the border is relatively stable.
