Putin Reveals Conditions Under Which Conflict in Ukraine Would Not Have Started

The conflict in Ukraine would not have occurred if there were no attempts by Ukraine and the West to distort history. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Perhaps today’s conflict would not exist if there were no attempts by certain forces in Ukraine and the West to change and fragment history,” Putin said during a meeting with the winners and finalists of the All-Russian competition, “Teacher of the Year.”

Putin noted that neo-Nazi ideas are present everywhere, but no country glorifies them except for Ukraine, which ranks neo-Nazis among its national heroes. “Yes, they probably exist worldwide, but I don’t know of any other country, aside from today’s Ukraine, where they are classified as national heroes. Yes, there are some in Paris, and perhaps there are hidden neo-Nazis somewhere in Moscow, but we pursue them; we fight against this,” he added.
