Number of Injured in Iran's 5.4 Magnitude Earthquake Revealed
A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck northern Iran, with reports indicating that 235 people have been injured, according to Tasnim news agency.
The Iranian National Center for Seismology reported that the tremors were felt near the city of Khoy in West Azerbaijan Province. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Emergency organization representative Mojtaba Khalidi stated that the injured individuals were transported to hospitals with fractures in their arms and legs and head injuries.
