Anonymous Source Spreads Azerbaijani Narratives in Armenia, Creating Atmosphere of Fear: Gegham Manukyan

During a briefing in the National Assembly, Gegham Manukyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, spoke about a possible meeting between the Catholicos, the former presidents of Armenia and Artsakh, mentioning that this format might continue, even in the absence of the first president of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

“It wasn’t clear from his statement whether he would participate if there were a meeting or not,” said Gegham Manukyan.

Regarding the demands of Azerbaijan presented by a credible source in media owned by Prime Minister Pashinyan's family, Manukyan expressed doubts about the authorship of the two articles published in "Haykakan Zhamanak" but emphasized that this matter should be handled by law enforcement.

“This anonymous source should primarily interest law enforcement, because it poses a threat to our national security. Azerbaijani information and narratives are being disseminated in Armenia, creating feelings of fear and uncertainty in the public. Therefore, law enforcement must uncover who the anonymous source is, as this constitutes a hostile diversion against the Republic of Armenia,” added Manukyan.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, "Haykakan Zhamanak" referred to its credible source, reporting on what Russia wants from Armenia and, citing the same credible source, noted Azerbaijan's demands from Armenia.
